How is This Medication Best Taken:
Take this medication daily by mouth unless otherwise directed. The typical dose ranges from 5 mg to 20 mg per day, broken down into 2 administrations. To safely withdraw from this medication, reduce by 10 mg a day until you are off it and no longer experience symptoms of withdrawal, such as anxiety, nervousness, and restlessness.
What to do if You Miss a Dose:
If a dose is missed, take as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for next dose, skip the missed dose and take it at next scheduled time. Do not double dosage.
Possible side effects of this medication:
Overstimulation, insomnia, irritability, heart palpitations, possible hair loss, or an increase of facial hair in women. Discontinue use and call a physician or licensed qualified healthcare professional immediately if you experience rapid heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, or other similar symptoms.
How should this medication be stored?
Store this medication away from heat moisture and light, at 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Dispose of unused medication after the expiration date. Do not flush or pour down sink or drain. Keep this and all medication out of reach of children.
